Low Carb Diet, does not have the Carbs

Written By Hendrafa on Selasa, 05 Februari 2013 | 07.07

A common myth, or 234 to 242 about the Low Carb Diet is that you have to cut out all carbs. And although that certainly is a method that has at least one low carb program taught you have come across, it is not normal. Indeed, it is almost impossible to cut out all carbs in your diet on a regular basis in the long term.

I mis-understanding comes from knowledge, even if the lack of it. You can see the General diet of the America that the following FDA approved food pyramid, which consume about 300 grams of carbohydrates daily. And some people: it is too much.

The key phrase here is "some" even though. Each of us has a different body makeup. Each of us has different ways of life, and each of us is too different genetic inheritances. And to top all off: two people can consume carbohydrates in exactly the same amount of a completely different way.

For example, one person can eat 300 grams per day in the low Glycemic carbs in the form of work in the complex, slow carbs. You can obtain the vegetables, fruits and whole grains. The other person may, however, use the carbs, which are primarily made up of simple sugars and starch are fast 300 grams. Eating pasta, rice, white bread and sugared processes, for example.

The person who eat low-Glycemic complex carbs are more likely to lose weight simply by reducing the intake or carb moderating slightly. Dropping a total of 150 grams daily, for example, is likely to create good results on the part of the person concerned. One, eat simple carbs, work fast, they may continue to receive the weight even if they reduce their daily intake of 150 grams of carb. They may even struggle to see the results, dropping their carb intake, as low as 50 grams per day.

And for me, the important: because our bodies and genetic make ups are so different: often, two people can eat exactly the same food is exactly the same parts, and you can still see the one to lose weight at the same time, the success of another struggling with their weight loss.

Now, if you want to lose weight quickly, a few of the most popular low carb diets work quite well in most people. The top two, reduce the daily intake carb carbs 20 or 30 grams. For some people, that is far too restrictive. If this is the problem, you can try to go to the back instead of the following:

1. work quickly to reduce or eliminate the carbs from the daily eating simple. This includes the table sugar, white bread, pasta, candy, pastries, and similar items. Keep this eating style 1-2 weeks, and measure progress. If you are satisfied with the loss of the weight of the course, you have to, then simply maintain a daily eating habits change. If you lose weight or lose-it is certainly not as fast as you want-then try step two:

2. to reduce the overall daily carb intake 150 g. Eat simple sugars and carbs a day even if the 150 grams. With this service, fresh veggies, fruits, and whole grains for a limited number.

3. If that does not produce weight loss you are looking for, try dropping your carb intake of 75-100 grams. Remember, you have to select a healthy, low Glycemic, complex carbs.

4. on that point, if you do not yet have a happy weight loss progress, you can take one of two approaches: first, Try dropping the carb daily intake of 10 grams on a weekly basis. To do this, until the weight loss that you are satisfied with the point, but is still safe. Second: Drop all the way to the bottom, 20 or 30 grams of the popular low carb diet to start with.

Done in a reasonable, low carb diet works well. Remember, there is no need to try to remove all of the carbohydrates in your diet and is a good carbs too.

Low-carb diets such as the Atkins have proved to be effective in that weight. But the big problem with most of the people are in the long term to a very hard time and find them very difficult to follow.

Use of the diet, the low carb diet journal will take some of the concepts and improve them, your diet, not only it is easier to keep track of, but also more efficiently. Diet largely based on the "green light" to foods that are "slow carb" is based on (which is different from that of the low carb!) The green light will cause the body's food, "turn off the fat burning gene" that causes people to get fat in the first place,. Low-Carb, High-protein diet

Written By Hendrafa on Selasa, 06 November 2012 | 22.56

Some of the popular diet, there are today in the low-carb form. There are a number of approaches, why do they say that this works, starting from the idea that it is easier to get the weight of carbohydrate Calories from protein and fat calories the idea that eating less carbs encourage weight loss was due to the fact that your diet will cause the unbalancing your metabolism.

The body does not need carbohydrates for fuel, it will survive exclusively, protein and fat, if necessary, but your brain is not functioning, the brain requires the carbohydrates, protein, or fat, it will not be able to use the energy which is enough to avoid a low-carb diet.

Low-carbohydrate diet also contributes to the weight of Ketosis, when it is used to create the body of fat and proteins in the fields of energy, when the body has a lack of carbohydrates, it can not be duly taken into account in the fuel, which produces a ketone, causing Ketosis fatty acids and fats break down. Ketosis sounds bad, but it is not, however, one of the side effects of Ketosis bad breath may be (in the case of one of the Ketose) caused by breathing through the acetones expunged.

Earlier, one of the low-carb diet to the management structure in the claimed benefits such as is that your diet will increase your unbalancing of the metabolism, this simply is not true. -In the short term, starting with the breaking down of drugs, the only way to raise your metabolism is through the use of.

The American Heart Association has a lot to say about the low-carb diet, including Atkins, the zone, sugar Buster and the Stillman diet. Robert h. Eckel, M.D., American Heart Association Nutrition Committee Chairman, had also said, "they put at risk the human heart disease and we are really concerned about this." "These diets represent ... the bad cholesterol and increase cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, in particular in relation to the risk."

Judith Stern, nutrition and internal medicine at the University of California, Davis Professor, said on this subject, "you want me to reply to the Atkins? by saying that his diet may reduce your cholesterol and do all kinds of good things in your heart, you know that my answer is Bull! "

LDL-cholesterol (the Bad type) Yes, as a general rule, the drop, such as people lose their low-carb diet, the weight, the weight, however, is due to the fact the loss, not in a way which has been lost. In addition, it has been shown that if people continue to use this diet, as the weight of the weight has been lost after the sustainer, "many of the people in the LDL goes, if they remain with the diet...," said Eckel.

The heart of the American Association and the Nutrition Committee of the science advisory warning, high-protein diet, are found to be:

o these diets can produce short-term weight loss due to water treatment.

o weight can also occur through the vähäenergiaisten restrictions, which result from the fact that the diet can be relatively unpalatable.

o these diets often limit the healthful foods that provide the necessary nutrients.

o individuals who follow their diet have heart, kidney, bone and liver abnormalities general risk.

o their blood cholesterol levels and insulin management should, therefore, does not change in the weight loss food.

o very high protein diet is particularly risky for patients with diabetes, as it speeds up the diabeettiset kidney diseases.

The entire nine months: Low Carb Diet and pregnancy

Written By Hendrafa on Senin, 05 November 2012 | 22.28

It is very important to keep track of what you eat. Eating two-that does not mean that you can eat more (so Say goodbye to the second cake), but that the eat smart. You are your only source of nutrients and you will need to use the proteins, vitamins, minerals, fiber and carbohydrates from the right balance.

However, most strongly advise against prenatal dieticians adhering to the strict: o-carb diet. The body produces insufficient carbs, is called ketones in the blood stream, in the course of which may jeopardise the baby brain damage.

But what about the low carb diet? Even as the mental retardation risks are some low carb diet, which may worsen the discomforts of pregnancy. Low carb diet in General, for example, dietary fibre, low, which will worsen the constipation that many pregnant women suffer from iron supplements, therefore, required. Most dieticians recommend taking prenatal fruit of a lot of its rich vitamin content, but for the most part, the typical shake you find items that are prohibited by the Atkins and South Beach the sugars.

But some doctors may recommend, in the light of the modified low-carb diet, especially if you are obese, suffer from gestational diabetes or low blood sugar. All three have been shown to be detrimental to the condition (including prematurity, birth defects, and the membranes rupture at the beginning of) a baby, without losing the weight or the controlled intake actually may be the best for the baby.

If you are asked to go to the low-carb diet during pregnancy, you probably would expect to go to the maintenance phase of the Atkins diet or the South Beach Diet in the second stage. This allowed the amount of carbohydrates is usually controlled from the whole grains and fruits, white bread, rice and pasta exclusion rules. It is great, as is the baby still sufficient nutrients while removing the food.

If you are unable to go to the low-carb, but still need to monitor the weight of some of the options open to you. First of all, eat small but frequent meals. If you want a snack, instead of taking the junk food or processed meat, (which has a lot of calories, but significantly less nutrients), take the salads, fruit, nuts and crackers. Choose lean cuts of meat, and to reduce the salt and rich sauces, cooking. And when you need carbohydrates, take control. One of the disk in the pasta is good, three doses IT white sauce is not lost.

But the important thing to remember is that, before you can go to any of the diets during pregnancy, consult the obstetrician-gynaecologist. He or his right to determine, in particular, health information, and your baby is the best course of operations. To go to the doctor without the advice and approval of any weight management program. Whether or not there is a low carb or zone, or Mediterranean diet, is not addressed to the link between nutrition and the health of the baby. Complications may include low birth weight, birth defects, and reporting of delivery.

Low Carb Salad Dressing for Low Carbohydrate Diets

Written By Hendrafa on Minggu, 26 Februari 2012 | 22.56

There were a number of low carb salad dressings on the market a few months ago but they are becoming more and more scarce. Even the ones that say they are reduced sugar or low calorie are usually too high in carbs for a true low carbohydrate diet.

There are several products readily available on the market today that do qualify as reduced carb salad dressings. The Good Seasons and the Hannaford dressings are good examples. Both of these products require you to mix olive oil and vinegar with the contents of a dressing packet and the Good Seasons product even gives you a nice carafe bottle to mix them in.

There are other options as well. Most mustards have little or no carbs and most mayonnaise products are zero carb. There are a number of reduced carbohydrate ketchups on the market and many relish products including sweet relishes have no sugar added and are reduced carbohydrate products. Tabasco and many other hot sauces have zero carbs and there are some powdered spice mixes that are also low or no carb products.

We make a creamy thousand island dressing using mayonnaise, no sugar added sweet relish and reduced carb ketchup.

The ketchup has one carb per tablespoon and the sweet relish has one carb per tablespoon so the net result of the mix of these three is a truly low carb dressing. Of course we don't stop there. We often add spice mix products to our main ingredients to "kick-it-up" a little. We make a Cajun kind of Thousand Island dressing and it is absolutely delicious.

The salad itself consists of Iceberg Lettuce, some celery, sliced cucumbers mixed with a little baby spinach. I mix a handful of the colorful bag salads from the grocery store in just to give it a little color and varying texture. The main ingredient in my salad is the Iceberg Lettuce.

My relatives laugh at my use of Iceberg lettuce and are quick to inform me that Ice Berg Lettuce has very little nutritional value. I smile and agree with them because that is exactly why I love the stuff. It fills you up and has no usable food value. What a wonderful diet product.

My only caution with all salad items is that you be sure to wash them thoroughly. We use a few drops of a food disinfectant product in the rinse water but a teaspoon or two of white vinegar would work just as well. Just be sure to rinse and dry off the excess water from the items before adding them to your salad.

Some of the other things we add to our salad are hardboiled egg slices, sliced of California avocados and sometimes a little tuna or canned chicken. Be sure to only use the California avocados, the dark green bumpy ones, and not the Florida avocados, which are lighter in color and smooth skinned. The California avocados are lower in carb and go better in a green salad.

Salads are the mainstay of a reduced carbohydrate diet and with a little experimentation you can mix your own excellent salad dressings from readily available grocery products. Some days my main meal is just a large salad with different meats like chicken tuna or even ham. It satisfies my hunger and helps me reach my goal of weight loss using a low carb diet.

Low Carbohydrate Diets Are Lacking in Many Nutrients

Written By Hendrafa on Sabtu, 25 Februari 2012 | 12.55

A low-carb diet is indeed, very unsafe! These diets like Adkins for example, do not make you feel well. Low-carb diets are meant as a quick fix, and do not promote any long term weight loss.  When you go on a low-carb diet plan, there is a severe reduction in calories, leaving out many good foods which are very nourishing to the body. Many people experience unwanted food cravings, and have a very narrow selection of what they can and cannot eat.
Many low-carb diets like Adkins, cause ketones. Ketones are not healthy for the body for any length of time. A ketonic state is very hard on the kidneys, and can easily cause them to eventually shut down completely. People that are on these ridiculous low carbohydrate diets also experience a sweetness to the breath as well.

When the body does not have ample carbohydrates in store, it also causes mood swings and will make you feel tired and out of energy altogether. Carbohydrates are so vital to our health, and one of the things that will give us our energy source and vitality.  You don't have to eat the unhealthy carbohydrates, but consume those that are healthy whole grains and contain fiber, which is something else lacking in a low carbohydrate diet. Eating foods such as whole grain cereals, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta and breads are the goodness of great nutrition and will help you to lose weight in a much more satisfying manner. Low carb diets will not allow you these foods, and therefore, make you feel pretty miserable, and deprived most of all.
Contrary to what others may believe, diets like Adkins promote the rate of heart disease since the diet cuts out all good carbohydrates. Eating the fats the program instructs you to eat, will surely cause cholesterol levels that are not pleasing. This is because Adkins and similar low carbohydrate diet plans have you consuming a great deal of animal fats which contain many saturated fats. Saturated fat is the fat which is NOT GOOD for you! This fat clogs arteries causing artherosclerosis, heart attacks and strokes. When these plans ask you to not eat so many of the plant foods and root vegetables, then a lot of the good nutrition meaning fiber, and naturally occurring good vitamins, are not part of your diet. This sets the stage for poor cardiac health. Plant foods such as sweet potatoes, oats, grapes, bananas, carrots, etc., help your good (LDL) cholesterol.
Low carbohydrate diets can cause a person to have gout. This is due to the promotion of uric acid since these fatty foods on the low carbohydrate diet program have purines. What are purines? Purines are are substances that promote the formation of too much uric acid in the system. Gout is often caused by uric acid in the blood which is too high, so this is something to consider when looking at an  low carb diet plan.
Kidney stones are also easily formed from too much uric acid in the blood. Kidney stones are very painful to have, and if you are a person that tends toward having them regularly, it is unwise to be on a diet that has a great deal of purines.
Another thing that enters into the equation is cancer risks. Many whole-grain foods lower cancer risk such as oats, potatoes, whole wheat breads, and grain cereals. Low carbohydrate diets keep you at a higher risk for developing colon cancers, and stomach cancers. This is due to the fact that you are not getting any of the antioxidants you need to from fruits and vegetables.
And last but not least, bone disease such as osteoperosis can result from a low carbohydrate diet. If you consume mostly proteins for a very long time without any whole grains in your diet, there will be no antioxidants which help you store and use calcium and process Vitamin K.  Calcium is what provides strength  to the bones along with collagen, which you also don't receive from high protein diets. And Vitamin K works on the bones to strengthen them along with calcium as well as helping blood to clot properly.
So overall, before you decide to embark on a low carbohydrate diet plan instead of a well balanced diet with a lot of great nutrients, think again. Isn't your health worth it?

Low-Carbohydrate Diets

Written By Hendrafa on Jumat, 24 Februari 2012 | 18.34

At one time over 10,000,000 people in the World were following the Atkins low-carbohydrate, high-protein diet. These diets are less popular now but the belief that carbohydrates cause weight gain remains, and manufacturers have been quick to launch low-cart)' products.

What you can eat

The first phase of a low-carb diet turns conventional healthy eating wisdom on its head: it typically includes unlimited lean protein foods such as meat, fish and eggs, plus unlimited fat (including saturated fats such as butter), and virtually no carbohydrates at all - no cereals, no pulses, only three handfuls of vegetables a day and no fruit. This regime can be followed for between 14 days and six months, after which carbohydrates are gradually reintroduced and a maintenance level reached. Vitamin and mineral supplements are recommended to keep the body fully supplied with nutrients during the restrictive phase.

Organizations including the Food Standards Agency and the British Dietetic Association (BDA) have expressed concern at the risks of slimming in a way that is counter to all conventional advice on healthy eating. The BDA concluded it could not recommend a high-protein diet as a long-term slimming solution, because of concerns about the possible effects of a high protein intake on the kidneys and on calcium loss, and high levels of saturated fat on the heart. It called for further research on the consequences of a high-protein diet for people who already have weight-related medical conditions.

However, thousands of people who have followed low-carbohydrate diets find they are effective, at least in the short term. Research studies have confirmed that a low-carb diet can produce a quicker short-term weight loss than other slimming diets, but that there is no difference in weight loss after six months.

Promoters of low-carb diets say that they work because there is an overall reduction in digestible energy, i.e. the balance of the diet encourages more calories than usual to be burnt up in digestion, and that deprived of glucose from carbohydrates, the body plunders its fat and protein stores to produce energy from ketones, resulting in quick weight loss.

Sceptics agree that there is an overall reduction in energy because the diet is self-limiting - in other words, there is only so much bacon and eggs, without toast, that can be eaten. And as high-protein diets tend to ban refined carbohydrates, which are generally high in calories, then the energy deficit necessary for weight loss can be achieved.

Protein foods are satiating (filling), which helps to keep hunger at bay, while the production of ketones (essentially a starvation reaction) can also result in a feeling of fullness. Other less pleasant short-term side-effects of ketone production can include bad breath, nausea and dizziness. Constipation can also be a problem on a high-protein diet that is very low in fibre.

Weight gain is possible

Losing weight rapidly without ever feeling hungry sounds too good to be true for slimmers and, in the short term, substantial weight loss, in the form of glycogen and water, is almost inevitable. However, taking the 'unlimited fats' rule to the extreme, it would be possible to overeat on these calorie-dense foods and gain weight.

Must known

Effective in the short term, meals are quick to prepare and feature favorites such as a fried breakfast. Diet can be monotonous and lacks the 'filling power' of many carbohydrate foods.
There are question marks over the health effects of following a high-protein diet long term.
